Sept. 30 2024 – New York, NY – Hudson Valley Property Group (HVPG), a leading, national affordable housing preservation company, announced today its recognition as one of Crain’s 2024 Best Places to Work in NYC. HVPG was among 70 companies selected from across the New York City metropolitan area for this award.
Members of the HVPG team, including co-founders Jason Bordainick and Andy Cavaluzzi, were in attendance as the list was unveiled in Manhattan on September 18.
“This recognition is a true testament to the inclusive and positive culture we’ve built at HVPG since our founding 14 years ago,” said Jason Bordainick, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of HVPG. “I couldn’t be more grateful for our amazing team, who make this such a great place to work every day while delivering invaluable services to the communities we serve.”
The Crain’s Best Places to Work awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best companies to work for in NYC. In partnership with Workforce Research Group, Crain’s surveyed thousands of employees and their employers on the working conditions, benefits and corporate culture that make a company a great place to work. Winners were determined by the results of Workforce Research Group’s weighted surveys.
Over the past five years, HVPG has more than doubled its workforce, but we remain committed to our core values and responsibilities to our employees. In a recent employee survey, 89% of the team said HVPG is a great place to work—32 points higher than the U.S. average.
This recognition follows several other recent awards for the firm, our team members and our affordable housing preservation funds.
This year, HVPG has been recognized on several key industry lists, including ImpactAssets’ IA 50 2024 and Affordable Housing Finance’s Top 10 Companies Completing Substantial Rehabs in 2023. Our team members also had notable wins at GlobeSt’s Women of Influence 2024 awards, with Anna Perez named Woman of the Year in the Architecture/Design Professional category, Alex Coleman recognized in the Corporate Real Estate Executive category, and Laura Yanushpolsky honored in the Investment Professional category.
