Alexandra Coleman and Laura Yanushpolsky also Recognized as Women of Influence
HVPG is proud to announce that Anna Perez, Associate Director of Design & Construction, has been named Woman of the Year in the Architecture/Design Professional category by GlobeSt. This honor follows her earlier recognition on GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence list. Out of nine Architecture/Design professionals recognized, Perez was selected as Woman of the Year for her significant contributions to the real estate industry during the previous 12 months.
Over the past year, Perez oversaw the construction due diligence process for two major portfolios totaling 6,670 units across seven states. She implemented the construction management software solution Procore, which streamlined construction processes through Procore Action Plans, and increased team efficiency. Her involvement spans multiple stages of diligence and construction for 72 projects, encompassing 15,000 units across 12 states and totaling $332 million in construction costs.
In addition to Perez’s honor, two other HVPG team members were named to GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence list: Alexandra Coleman was recognized in the Corporate Real Estate Executive category, and Laura Yanushpolsky was recognized in the Investment Professional category.
As HVPG’s Chief of Staff, Alexandra Coleman has been instrumental in the firm’s growth from 1,100 units to 10,650 units and from four to 40 employees over the past eight years. In 2023, she spearheaded numerous change management initiatives and interdepartmental projects, including selecting, onboarding and implementing a new project management software solution across multiple HVPG teams. Coleman also played a pivotal role in implementing the next iteration of the Objectives and Key Results process across the firm, driving departmental alignment to achieve annual company-level objectives.
With oversight of a portfolio comprising 10,650 units across 75 properties spanning eight states, Director of Portfolio Management Laura Yanushpolsky ensures the effective execution of business plans tailored to each property. This includes managing asset performance and financial outcomes and implementing value-add strategies. She also supervises property valuations and communicates performance metrics to stakeholders, fostering transparency and informed decision-making. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in securing $292 million in capital commitments for the firm’s second fund, which closed in 2022.
